Torfhaus - Ski lift and barrow lift
Barrow lifts "Brockenblick"
To lodge makes fun, but it makes no fun to ramp up the mountain after a furious downswing. In Torfhaus it is very easy for all bob sight riders, because the unique particularly attraction is the barrow lift Brocken lift with flood light � it is imitable in the whole Harz. That means, that you do not need to ramp up the mountain with your sleigh, you only have to use the practical barrow lift. Due to the flood light you will also have to possibility to luge up to the evening - sufficient snow and appropriate weather conditions assumed. Please consider the information in advance.
The barrow lift is directly situated on the big parking place on the state road next to the national park visitor centre. A wide slope invites to tobogganing.
On the slopes are slights which are drawing up the luger to the mountain, you only have to pull your own slight during sitting on the slight. Totally practical. The fun for the youth and the old people begins with the departure of 300 m.Â&xnbsp;
Additionally it is also possible to borrow a slight against a deposit on the cash point of the barrow lift (valley station) - but you have to buy a lift card. A reservation in advance is not necessary - unless you are a hugh group.
big Torfhauslift on Rinderkopf 
The mountain station of the big Torfhaus lift is situated approx. 820 m above sea level. There is an approx. 400 long ski-run, on which you pass 80 altitude differences.
- The ski run will be regularly prepared with a Piste Bully of Kässbohrer.
- it is possible to park gratis directly on the lift

- from Altenau across Steile-Wand-Strasse in direction Torfhaus
- - from Bad Harzburg across B4 to Torfhaus, right to Altenau
- - from Braunlage across B 4 to Torfhaus, left to Altenau
